Preformed units are designed to suit a range of requirements. Available as standards where appropriate.
  • Surface fix External/Internal corner units
  • Brick/Block External/Internal corner units
  • Stop Ends
  • Column Stop Ends
  • Change of level units

Change of Level Unit

The Brick/Block version of the change of level unit is used where the cavity tray is being built into the inner leaf. Simply reversing the unit will accommodate left or right hand sloping trays. As with the surface fix change of level unit the step on face may not always be the same as the rise within the cavity.
External Corner The external corner surface fix unit is used where the cavity tray is mechanically fixed to the substrate, as in internal concrete retaining walls at ground level, or when fixing to steelwork and beams at upper levels.
Internal Corner As with the external corner, the internal corner surface fix unit is used where the cavity tray is being mechanically fixed to the inner leaf and to simplify jointing and continuity with the cavity tray.
Internal/External corner The Brick/Block Internal/External corner unit may be used either as Internal or External when the cavity tray is being built into the inner leaf.
Stop End The stop end unit may be used in either Brick/Block or surface fix situations and provides an efficient method for discharging water from the cavity where cavity trays terminate.
Column Stop End A column stop-end version is available which may also be used where expansion joints are provided.
Top Hat Top Hat unit for pipe penetrations through brickwork or concrete.
Surface fix Change of Level The surface fix change of level unit is used where there are sloping ground levels and continuity needs to be maintained; nb: step on face dimensions may differ from the rise dimension of the tray within the cavity.
